RETURN Design Conference reminds designers to return to basics. All those principles of design we learn in our formative years matter greatly. A piece can have all the bells and whistle in the world, but a simple design with a strong foundation can be just as powerful. This theme influenced the titles for the conference. They tell the story of Archie, a member of an extremely technically advanced future. But even in a place seemingly so streamlined, sometimes it's the past that presents a simple solution.
